MILITARY FAMILIES
Moreno Junior High is located on the west side of Beeville. It is the only innovative junior high campus within Beeville ISD. We educate over 600 6th – 8th grade students daily. We offer many career and technical educational classes, variety of sports, and leadership clubs. We understand and value your service to our nation and we are honored to serve you and your family here at Moreno Junior High.

Courses Offered
6th grade
Sixth graders have 6 class periods. Our Math and ELAR classes are blocked. Other required classes for sixth graders are Social Studies, Science, Physical Education, and a Fine Art.
7th grade
Seventh graders have 8 class periods. They are required to take Math, ELAR, Science, Texas History and physical education. After required classes, they have 3 periods open for electives. Our elective options include fine arts and high school credit courses such as Spanish I and CTE classes.
8th grade
Eight graders have a schedule of 8 class periods. They are required to take Math, ELAR, Science and American History. Eighth graders have 4 periods of electives. Our elective options include fine arts and high school credit courses such as Spanish I/II and CTE classes.
Honor Courses
Advance classes are offered through our magnet academy, The Joe Barnhart Academy. The academy requires an application where certain criterion must be met to qualify. Please contact Rebecca Soto to request an application or stop by MJH front office to pick up one.
