I am a 1990 graduate from Pampa High School in Pampa, Texas. I then graduated in 2010 from Amarillo College in Amarillo, Texas. I then graduated in 2012 from West Texas A&M in Canyon, Texas.
I have a Bachelors of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies and also an Associate of Arts in Education.
My Teacher certificate is in Special Education.
In the summer of 2017, I attended an Algebraic Thinking conference in Houston, Texas.
This will be my third school year to teach at Moreno Junior High and at Beeville ISD. I currently teach Math Intervention.
Prior to this school, I started teaching in 2013 as a co-teacher in the Math department in the subject area of Algebra I, Algebra II, Geometry and Math Models at Lee High School in Midland, Texas. In 2012, I student taught Resource Math at Bowie Middle School in Amarillo, Texas. I have also been an instructional assistant in a Resource room at Lee Elementary in Amarillo, Texas. Life and family experiences from childhood and on have greatly impacted my teaching experience for the better.
I am married with three children. Two children are grown and one child is an 8th grade at The Joe Barnhart Academy. We have two dogs, Piggy and Scamp.
Some of my hobbies include family time, movies and reading inspiration novels.
