My name is Teresa G. Garcia. I graduated from Premont High School in 1975 and then attended Texas A&I Kingsville (now Texas A&M) from 1975-1979.
At Texas A&I Kingsville, I majored in Spanish, minored in Art and received a Bachelor of Science. I have been an educator for 34 years and have taught Spanish for 20 of these years.

In 2004, I joined the staff of Moreno Junior High. Prior to that I taught at A.C. Jones High School from 1997-2004. I currently teach Spanish I Pre-AP and Spanish I both for high school credit.
From 1984 – 1997, I taught in Laredo Texas at Private Schools. I’ve taught 2nd and 5th grade (all courses) and 7th and 8th grade Social Studies, Math, and Pre-Algebra
I have been he married to the love of my life for 39 years (Jose). We have 3 girls (Mary 38, Samantha 30, and Aileen 27). Samantha and Aileen graduated from AC Jones in 2005 and 2010. Mary graduated from a High School in Laredo in 1997. We have 3 dogs: Chapo, Ebony, and our Chihuahua named Chavo.
I enjoy watching HGTV because my husband and I are currently rennovating a home! When we are not working we enjoy time with our children, pets and extended family by getting together for meals and celebrating special occassions.
